Choosing the Right Recovery Center or Rehab in Southern California
For most people fighting addiction, there have been multiple attempts at sobriety. There can be many reasons why relapses occur, but the important thing is to highlight and celebrate the desire to become sober. Taking the first step toward sobriety is incredibly challenging, so it is crucial that you do so in the right type of environment.
At Arrive Recovery Center, we have a team that provides support and guidance throughout the entire recovery process. Our focuses are drug and alcohol detox, residential, outpatient, and sober living. From the moment you walk through our doors, we take every step to make you feel comfortable, respected, and welcome.
When looking at a center, you want one with staff that actually cares about your long-term sobriety. We believe that everyone has a reason for being here and that sometimes people may wander off the path to fulfillment because of drugs and alcohol. Our goal is to help bring you back to your path through gentle, intentional healing that will set you up for continued success as you progress through life.
Questions About Our Programs at Arrive Recovery
What Is Outpatient Treatment?
Outpatient treatment is a form of drug or alcohol rehabilitation that allows clients to live at home, or some other helpful environment, while they progress through their plan. This type of treatment affords clients certain freedoms, like continuing to go to work and school, but it also presents challenges with staying sober.
Outpatient programs are often less intensive than inpatient options. They still offer a wide variety of therapeutic services and are flexible enough to be performed in many different settings.
What Is a Sober Living?
Sober living offers substance-free housing for clients actively in one of our outpatient treatment plans or immediately following treatment. These housing options are for people who may not have access to safe housing or prefer an environment committed to sobriety. These homes are run by a house manager, who may or may not live at the home with clients. The house manager is responsible for enforcing the rules to maintain an alcohol and drug-free living space.
Why Consider a Sober Living House?
While we are an outpatient facility, many of our clients elect to stay in one of our sober living homes for a portion of their recovery journey. There are multiple benefits that come with this setup. For starters, you will be in a home that is alcohol and drug-free. If you are doing outpatient treatment, there is a risk of being in an environment where drugs and alcohol may be present. This could easily lead to a relapse.
Another benefit is accountability. You will be in the sober living house with other clients. This peer support is immense for people making their way through recovery, as it can often feel isolating. Our sober living homes create a sense of community among clients. This community serves as a resource to fall back on in times of need. It’s a place to practice recovery exercises and to share experiences and feelings that bring people together in their commitment to sobriety.
We Treat All Clients With Dignity and Respect
At Arrive Recovery Center, we want every client to feel like they matter – because they do. The stigma around addiction can be defeating, and people often feel like they don’t deserve the joy and peace that sobriety brings. We try to actively rewire clients’ thinking around that concept by treating them with the care and respect they are entitled to. Our clients are more than their past. We are all human and all make mistakes. We also all deserve a shot at redemption.
